Project work
The Republic of Equatorial Guinea project included the development and complete establishment of a government website for the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. As part of the project, Digital ST provided consulting, design and development services tailored to government needs, using the Drupal content management system, a flexible, durable and scalable platform. The work was carried out in close collaboration with the ministry and minister's teams to ensure full compliance of the design, website structure, menus and content with governmental needs. The site includes menu management, a login system and support in multiple languages, and is an official information and image tool, clear and accessible to the general public.
Our strategy
Our strategy in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea project focused on creating a professional government website, accessible and adapted to the specific needs of the Ministry of Infrastructure. We put emphasis on developing a stable and flexible content system using Drupal, which enables easy management of content, menus and multiple languages. In addition, we designed the user experience so that the information is clear and accessible, while maintaining a correct content hierarchy and an official aesthetic that matches the status of the office. The strategy included close cooperation with the ministry's teams to ensure full compliance with government needs, reliability, image visibility and efficient operation over time.
What we learned
From the project we learned that setting up a government website requires careful planning of user experience along with durability, security and system flexibility. We understood that full compliance with government needs is of critical importance, both in design and content structure, and that close cooperation with the office's teams optimizes the process and ensures accessibility and proper operation. In addition, we learned that scalability, multilingual content management and formal aesthetics are key factors in strengthening the website's credibility and maintaining visibility and a professional image over time.
